Review revenue, outstanding balances and booking performance
Zolis reports turn recorded bookings and payments into a view of your service business. Choose a reporting period, filter by location where applicable and review the figures available on your plan.
Choose the period you want to understand
Set From and To dates or use shortcuts for today, this month, last month and this year. Reporting date boundaries use your business timezone.
Where your business operates across locations, use the location filter to narrow the view. This helps you examine activity for a particular branch as well as the wider operation.
Start with the core financial snapshot
The core report includes:
- Collected revenue: successful payment activity recorded in Zolis.
- Net sales collected: collected payment amounts before recorded tax.
- Recorded tax collected: tax associated with the payments in the report.
- Outstanding balances: amounts still owed on active appointments.
These figures help distinguish the value of appointments from money actually collected. A full diary and a paid booking balance are different measures.
Explore advanced payment and booking reports
With eligible advanced reporting access, you can review:
- Recorded refunds, reversed net amounts and reversed tax.
- Payment breakdowns for Stripe and manually recorded cash, card, bank transfer and other payments.
- Booking counts, completed and confirmed appointments, cancellations and no-shows.
- Original booking value, discounts, booked net, tax and gross amounts.
- Average booking value for active and completed appointments in the selected period.
These breakdowns describe the records held in Zolis. A manually recorded payment category does not mean Zolis processes that payment method online.
Export transaction details as CSV
Eligible plans can download a reports CSV for the selected date range and location. The export includes booking and payment values, recorded tax, refunds and reversed tax.
Historical tax values are taken from the transaction records rather than recalculated using today's settings. This gives you transaction detail to review alongside your other financial records.
A CSV download is an export file, not a direct integration with every accounting system. Check your accounting software's import requirements before importing it.

Questions about reporting
Are booked revenue and collected payments the same?
No. Booking values describe appointments, while collected payment figures describe recorded payment activity. An appointment may still have an outstanding balance.
Do reports replace accounting or tax advice?
No. Reports summarise the booking, payment and tax records held in Zolis. Review those records for completeness and use appropriate accounting advice for your business.
Where does the information come from?
Reports use records from your bookings and payment activity. Keeping those records accurate makes the reporting more useful.
